How to Repair Incorrect Thumbnail for Image Files in Windows XP

Problem : Sometimes , the thumbnails of picture files get damaged and it shows a false thumbnail which is not the correct thumbnail of that image. This happens due to corrupt of thumbnail file management in windows XP.



Solution: All the information of the thumbnails are stored inside that folder as file name : Thumbs.db

So, if you see an incorrect thumbnail photos inside picture folder then
delete Thumbs.db inside that folder. Go back from that folder and again open the folder.

[Note: Thumbs.db is a system hidden file.So you need to activate "show hidden files" from folder option]
