Conversion of IP address to name and vice versa

The websites are hosted on a server that may be located in another continent. So for example, when a user from Asia visits a website whose server is located in Europe, then it may take longer time to respond if it is not routed to the closest DNS server.
Due to the routing problems the browser works slow. DNS protocol serves as an internet phone book. While visiting a website, DNS lookup is done by the computer. To start loading a complex web page, multiple DNS lookup is sometimes required. So the PC may be performing lots of lookup a day. Changing the DNS server can improve response time and makes the web faster. It gives results with no redirection and it has features which a include phishing filter that can be harmful. There are several public DNS servers available that provide a faster solution to this problem. Two popular DNS server that most people use are :

i) Google Public DNS ,  IPv4 addresses
  Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
  Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

ii) Open DSN , IPv4 addresses

  Preferred DNS Server: 208.67.222.222
  Alternate DNS Server:  208.67.220.220
